How the Getyourarts Portal Works
There are two transactions from the portal.
One is the booking fee for your slots published. These are valid for 30 days. If the artists art does not sell, then you still get the booking fees.
The second transaction is from the sale of the art. Here you will get a commission from the sale of the art item.
To setup your profile and receive payments please follow the following steps.
- Publish a bookable display slot: (Yellow button)
- Your bookable slots: You already described the slots available during setup.
- To change slots or price the slots : Please contact the customer service team.
- Artists will submit proposals: Artist will propose their artwork and you can approve the ones that you like.
- To check the proposals: To review art proposals, go to the “Appointment” tab in the Booking system menu, click the three dots next to the new proposal, and select “Information” to accept or reject it. You can view the artist’s link and painting image from the same menu before deciding
- Waiting List: If your slot is booked, other artists can join a waiting list. If you sell art early, you can offer the slot at a reduced price. Use the WhatsApp button on the artist’s profile for direct communication. Once agreed, inform customer service with the details, and they will update the slot availability.
- Make sure your payment details, address and whatsapp number is setup: So you can receive the payment, receive the art and communicate with the artists.
- Art sales: (Transaction 2 – Black button)
- Once you have accepted the booking: The artist will send you the art. If the artwork is damaged then please let Customer service know immediately.
- The sales portal (Dokan) : Please make sure that you setup your payment details in the portal to get commission from the sale of the art.
- Activate art: The artist’s responsibility is to provide mountable art and your responsibility is to mount it on the slots shown for sale at your venue. Once the art is mounted, you need to inform customer service to activate the art on your venue site. Once done, they will share a unique QR code for the art.
- QR code: As there will be many paintings on the site, the QR code will help navigate directly to the painting on the wall. This will make it easy for the customer to browse and purchase the art when at your restaurant. Please print the QR code and display it below the painting for the customers to view and purchase the art.
- Overall
- Get your arts handles all: Once the art is sold, Get your Arts will deliver it to the customer for free. If unsold, then we will get it delivered back to the artists. Just wrap and place the art in the packaging provided and let Customer Service know. We will get the package picked up and delivered.
- Insurance: We will cover insurance during delivery. However, when at your premises, the artwork must be covered by your content insurance for the value of the sales price. This is the only way to do it and part of our terms and conditions for use.
- Slot Duration: Each booked slot is valid for a maximum of 30 days. The slot will expire as soon as the art is sold.
- Venue profile: Please click on the black button to view your site: there is a link at the bottom of the page. From here you can check if your profile looks ok. For any issues, you can contact our Customer Service desk.
- Revenue summary: We aim to achieve a high turnover of painting sales by a fair and reasonable markup basis. Below is a summary.
- Slot Earnings: This is the first transaction to sell your slot for 30 days
- Art sales : The second transaction. The commission shown is the percent value of the markup from the total price before tax. The markup percentage is also shown.
- Venue Commission: 9.6% of total price without tax
- Platform Commission: 10.4% of total price without tax
- VAT: Applicable taxes.

- In terms of markup above the artist price: This is 13% for GYA and 12% for the venue.
Important Note: To minimise complexity, it is important to sell the art from your venue as a physical sale after the customer has seen it. As we cannot accept returns once the art is sold. Payment for sold artworks will be credited to your account within 5-7 business days.
